What happened
Employee was removing (trimming) excess flash from the ramp by use of a safety knife. As the employee was using the knife they were cutting towards themselves with their free hand in the line direction of the cut. They applied significant pulling force slipped and the blade on the knife caught on the skin between their index finger and thumb.
