Before the incident
Employee was performing rework on a chrome plated part. They were disassembling the grille by using cutters to cut the clams off to try and reuse parts of the grille that didn 't have defects.
What happened
After the employee finished cutting the grille apart they went to throw away the chrome plated scrap. When they threw the parts into the scrap bin a sharp piece of chrome from where they cut the part came into contact with their right arm causing a laceration.
