What happened
BBE to hand. Employee had an abrasion to her finger and noticed the patients blood was on her hand. I was taking a patient to use the restroom and was lowering the bed and noticed a pool of blood on the ground. I immediately figured it was the IV and grabbed a nurse. I went to go get gloves for her and myself to help cleanup the blood and noticed as I was putting the gloves on that I had some blood on my hand. The nurse I was with noticed as well. I also noticed at the same time I had a cut on my right pointer finger so I am not sure whose blood it was.
