Was in patient 's room giving medications. 1) cream to his body 2) starting IV antibiotic. The cord to the air mattress was sticking out from under the bed. My left foot got tripped up in the cord when I was done and turning to leave the room. I fell on to my left side landing on my elbow knee and the cord pulled hurt my ankle.
