Position reposition patient

Just finished with the scan on my patient. I was about to process my images when I heard the patient gagging. I ran into the room pulled the patient out of the CT scanner asked him to sit up and he was not able to on his own. I tried lifting him three tim es and succeeded the third time. I kept telling him we have to get you up so you don 't choke on the vomit. As soon as I got the patient up he threw up. I called the ED for the patient 's nurse to come down since I was by myself. Patients nurse gave him m eds to help with the nausea.
