Employee was riding an electric scooter.
What happened
Employee was traveling between facilities (approx. .5 miles) via a scooter. During their travel (not on company property) they turned and as they did so they hit a puddle of water that had formed on the asphalt which caused them to lose control of the scooter and fall to the ground. Employee was wearing a helmet but reported pain in their wrist when they arrived to the building they were going to. ERT splinted wrist and employee was taken to local ER for evaluation.
