What happened
While building a large pallet on a two man build table the employee dropped a wooden spacer. He picked up the spacer and when reaching his hand back up his hand swung towards his partner 's side of the table where his partner was holding a nail gun with his finger on the trigger. The employee struck the bump stop of the partner 's nail gun causing a 3 nail to discharge into his left hand between the thumb and index finger and travel through his thumb to the base of his little finger.
