What happened
EE was on a chair in the dining room trying to turn on a juice machine. She fell off of the chair and injured her ankle. She was already wearing a brace in the ankle. There was a safety ladder available. She did not use it.EE was on campus and in the building at least one [REDACTED] before their scheduled time. EE clocked themselves in one [REDACTED] before their scheduled time. She was trying to reach a switch to turn on a juice machine. She should have been able to reach the switch without having to elevate herself. EE did not use the safety ladder that is provided and instead decided to use a chair. The employee has used the safety ladder in the past. They are aware that the ladder is there and they are aware of how to use it. She fell off the chair and injured her ankle. She did have a brace on this ankle already.
