What happened
The employee was unloading a trailer at a customer s location using a hand-operated pallet jack. The dock was on an incline against the back of the trailer and while pulling the stack of pallets toward the end of the trailer the employee began to experience pain in his left shoulder while pushing or pulling. He was treated at the local clinic and diagnosed with a shoulder strain for which he was prescribed medication and restricted from driving a company vehicle making the incident recordable.
