Employee was fastening the studs on a wall in the jig holding the board in place. After securing a part of the board the employee moved their hand to secure the other part of the board when the board was shot with the pneumatic nail gun the end of the board splintered and broke off causing the nail to puncture the employees finger. Employee stated their hand was not close to the barrel of the nail gun at the time.
