Moving a Cart

An employee was transporting a cart loaded with aluminum from the door department yard staging area to the saw located inside the building using a pallet jack as the device to assist the pulling operation (Using the pallet jack to transport the cart). The employee has their left hand placed on the operating control of the pallet jack and their right hand on the metal. specifically in between layers of metal. While employee was passing through the bay door (Overhead Door) the rack wheels caught on the floor joints causing the cart to slide off the pallet jack. This cause the metal to bounce and as result the right hand of the employee was compressed in between the layers of metal.
