She was sitting next to a register service area and there were staff members standing to her right. All she heard was be careful and then was covered in extremely hot if not boiling water.

The employee was sitting at a low counter at the bar at the Nine Cities Craft restaurant near [REDACTED] waiting to board a flight home to [REDACTED]. She was sitting next to a register service area and there were staff members standing to her right. All she heard was be careful and then was covered in extremely hot if not boiling water. The temperature of the water caused clothing to stick to her skin and caused second degree burns on the top of her right breast and on the top of her right thigh. The paramedics were called and she was taken via ambulance to Desert Regional 's trauma center for treatment.
