Cleaning patient

What happened

Cleaned patient from bowel movement (pushing-pulling side-side of bed). Then patient requested to be lifted up to the head of bed. I was on the left side of the bed of patient using mostly my right arm as my dominant arm to pull patient up to bed. Patient weighed estimated 300lbs. Patient was a bed bound and a total patient care. Nurses aide needs to position hersince patient cannot do it by herself. I was doing a training orientation with a new Travel RN as my partner that incident. I thought it was just a regular muscle pulled and will get better after days of rest but the pain has been worse and range of motion get so limited. I have been having so much sharp pains with movement. Constant pain pressure on my right arm. I still went back to work on [REDACTED] night shift since i thought i can handle it but no even spiking an IV bag hurts. That 's when i went to employee health in the morning after my shift.
