EE was removing straps from core packs as they were loaded onto the core deck.

The employee EE was pulling bands at the Core Deck infeed. The EE was pulling the bands from the beginning of the Core deck where the forklift loads core packs. The band was under the pack between the chain runners. When the EE pulled the banding it nicked his left arm making a small laceration. The EE reacted to the laceration on his left arm and while moving away from the initial laceration his right forearm to struck the banding near the band clamp. This resulted in a deep laceration to his right forearm.
