What happened
During the CIP sanitazation process the sanitor was splashed on the right side (arm ribs) with CIP chemical water at 160 degrees. This was caused by a loose clamp on the CIP discharge pipe. The pressure from turning on the air valve to release hot CIP water along with the loose tri clamp on this pipe caused the pipe that would normally be facing towards the ground to spin up upwards (directed at employee in that area) The employee was not wearing required PPE for this task at the time.
