What happened
Employee was packing multiline product in [REDACTED] packing area. For this job you must use a handheld scanner with the trigger button on the side of the scanner. Employee had been working multiline work off and on for the [REDACTED]. They started to feel a pulling pinching sensation on the inside of their right thumb and into her wrist. Every time they pushed the button of the side of the scanner they felt the pinching and pulling when also picking up the shoes or making boxes they are feeling the same sensation. Their wrist is visibly swollen and tender to the touch shooting the pain up into their wrist and up their forearm.
