Moving cable spool into box truck
What happened
A spool of cable was being loaded into a box struck and the employee was behind the spool trying to guide it so it would not bounce off the back of the truck. The employee was struck by the spool and then caught between the spool of cable and the back of the truck. The spool bounced off the employees right rib cage and opened a gap so the employee walked out of the tight space with the assistance of another employee. Employee was seen at local hospital with no fractures noted employee was discharged from the hospital with bruising to the right rib cage.
