Moving a labor and delivery recovery patient from stretcher to bed on a hover mat.

I was transporting a patient to 4H on a recovery bed. Once in the room I adjusted the PSCU bed to match the stretcher so we could pull the patient over. The charge nurse was the only other person in the room to help. The hover mat machine was hooked up and blown up all the way. I was on one side and the charge nurse was on the other side. As I counted 1 2 3 and about to pull the patient over the nurse hit the button to decrease how much it was blown up and all at the same time I pulled the patient over with almost no help from the nurse. I felt my back pull and tenderness of my spine.
