Before the incident
Getting in and out of his low to the ground patrol vehicle.
What happened
Starting in the [REDACTED] of [REDACTED] employee noticed an issue with his left knee. He had pain developing that was primarily noticed exiting and entering his patrol vehicle. Since his hire date in [REDACTED] he has always been issued a sedan style of patrol vehicle. As time has gone by more specifically to the end of [REDACTED] and beginning months of [REDACTED] employee significantly noticed the pain entering and exiting the patrol sedan far greater. Employee has been getting chiropractic care and [REDACTED] had an x-ray taken of his lower bone structure. It was discovered that his left leg bone structure has been twisted and rotated including his kneecap being off center. His hips primarily the left side has been pushed forward inward as well. The patrol sedans have higher or more side seat bolstering that increase the pressure being put on the hips and rotating them forward over time. With all the additional weight of the duty gear in correlation with putting weight and rotating
