While pulling a box off the storeroom cages shelf a motor that had been placed on top of the box fell off towards the employee The employee dodged the motor but it is believed to have struck a shelf on the rack behind him causing it to lunge forward and strike his left legs calf This caused his calf to receive scrapes and contusions some of which bleed and caused bruising and soreness Parts of the motor had sharp edges and weighed about 25 pounds which is believed to have contributed to the injury
