Employee was in the roll room changing a propane tank on their clamp truck when they twisted their lower back The employee did not experience any pain while at work and only felt discomfort when they went home The employee called in sick on [REDACTED] and made no indication that they were experiencing any pain On [REDACTED] the employee called out again but indicated that this was due to a workplace injury The employee stated that they did not want to see a doctor but then visited their own without informing us of their decision to The doctor diagnosed the employee with a lower back strain Employee was given a prescription but no work restrictions however the one of the RX prevented the employee from operating heavy equipment (PITs) resulting in a loss time case The site tried to get the employee into see their occupational clinic but the employee refused Due to the way this injury was reported and personnel issues with the employee this injury was initially considered not work related
