Shutting down co-extruder production line.

Team member was tasked with tearing down the co-extruder on line 23. Among purging the acrylic material from the co-extruder the acrylic nozzle must be removed as well. The team member acquired a 1 open ended wrench and rubber mallet to break the acrylic nozzle from the co-extruder housing. When attempting to strike the wrench the team member struck their left pinky finger resulting in a contusion and laceration. The team member reported the incident to the supervisor on shift and first aid commenced.
