The employee was performing cycle counts as part of his regular work as a Buyer 1 He obtained a step tool from the Modline and climbed up to count the different types of seat bases As the employee was descending from the step tool about 14 inches off the ground he misstepped and twisted his right ankle The employee requested to have his foot examined by a professional due to hearing a cracking sound at the time of the twist He shown signs of swelling the employee did not fall He contacted his supervisor who then informed the EHS manager and an incident investigation was conducted The employee was diagnosed with a right ankle sprain S9340 and was given restrictions allowing only seated work
