Before the incident
I was working on an industrial staple machine and there was a staple stuck at the bottom of it.
What happened
You usually need to press a pedal and a lever goes to activate the machine. So I avoided that and reached in to grab the stuck staple. When I just touched to staple it went off by itself and punctured my finger. Crush injury to top right pointer finger. Bone shattered 10 stitches. 2 lacerations. I can not use my right hand currently.
