What happened
Employee was learning crane operation and was operating crane under supervision. Employee was watching hopper as he set it down prior to dumping into the scrap trailer in the pit. Employee was focused on lift and not on stairs. Gate was open and employee fell down 5 steps (aprox. 4 feet). First aid was applied but after work employee chose to go to an urgent care clinic.
