Injured Worker (IW) was transferring a resident from the bedside commode to the chair when the resident flopped down on her left wrist.

What happened

IW states she went into the resident 's room to assist her to the restroom and she lifted her up and transferred her to the bedside commode. IW states when the resident was finished she was transferring her to the chair when the resident flopped down on her left wrist. IW reports having swelling on the pinky side of her wrist and intermittent pain. IW states she still has full range of motion and movement does not worsen the pain. IW states she is still able to make a fist and use her wrist.
