Unloading a OTR driver at dock door 37
What happened
At approximately [REDACTED] door 37 an associate was preparing to offload a factory truck. He received the paperwork from the driver and asked him to chock both sides of his tires. There was a clear language barrier as the driver nodded his head and said yes. The driver then proceeded out the door and the forklift operator prepared the dock plate for unloading. The forklift operator matched the BOL with the paperwork and then proceeded to start unloading the truck. He failed to ensure both wheels were chocked. The employee stated that when he looked one side had a wheel chock and he then proceeded to ask the driver to chock the other side. However according to the driver via translation he understood this to mean he needed to pull off and move his tandem to the rear instead of chocking the other wheel. The forklift operator drove back into the trailer and as he attempted to pick up and unload 4 air handlers the driver began to pull away from the dock. The team immediately noticed this
