Employee was using a boom lift to access the top of the aircraft to inspect SATCOM antenna. In order to reach the antenna the employee reached their upper body thru the basket upper and mid rail to get close enough for inspection.

While trying to return upper body to basket the employee used left arm to reach back to pull themselves into the basket. Upon reaching back they felt a pop and discomfort.
