Before the incident
The operator was using a forklift to dump dross contents into the dross trailer.
What happened
The operator placed the left hand in between the forks and pockets of the dross box. When the operator pulled the lever of the dross bin to empty the dross bin the dross box bin tipped forward and up the fork pocket of the dumpster frame slipped forward and tipped up on the forks-pinching his index finger.
