The skinner operator stated that he was trying to clean the skinner roller with his meat hook.
What happened
The skinner operator stated that he was trying to clean the skinner roller with his meat hook. The operator kept his foot on the pedal in order to keep the roller rotating while he used the tip of the meat hook to clean out the groves. The meat hook was then caught by the roller and pulled in and against the skinner blade. The EE managed to pull his left hand out quickly but the machine managed to lacerate his left hand ring and middle finger.
