Before the incident
A PM mechanic was working on [REDACTED] Molder [REDACTED] removing the magnetic rods from the servo motors.
What happened
The mechanic placed the magnets in the storage area for the rods but positioned them too close to each other causing the rods to snap together. TM attempted to move their hand out of the way but the rods came together too quickly pinching their left thumb. This resulted in part of the skin being torn off.
