A Production Operator was clearing out the over crowed caps out of the line 4 cap inspection unit.

While putting on the guide on the front side of the inspection unit and as the Production Operator was stepping down from the equipment the cap inspection unit came down striking the left thumb of the Operator resulting in a deep laceration to the thumb.

TM 's left thumb was cut and tip of the bone was fractured by the cap inspection machine.
