Straightening employee was inserting a chisel into a fixture to straighten one of the parts. The task involved hitting the chisel on top and bottom to flare the fixture. The employee grabbed the hammer with both hands and hit the chisel on top his finger was pitched between the tip of the chisel and handle. Employee was sent to urgent care for an x-ray and it was found that he sustain a closed displaced fracture.
