Before the incident
In [REDACTED] both my hands started going numb I had pain and loss of grip strength primarily in my left hand and wrist as well. I saw my doctor for these and was referred to a neurologist for nerve mapping and treatment. The neurologist diagnosed me with carpal tunnel in both of my wrists and cubital tunnel in my left elbow. After diagnosis he gave me instruction to help improve and reduce symptoms. I 've been using wrist braces ever since and especially at night. In [REDACTED] it started to give me a lot of trouble again so I went and saw the physician again who gave me an injection in my hand to improve symptoms. This improved things again for around 6 months for me but the numbness and pain are returning again. I called the neurologist and they are now referring me to a hand surgeon. This injury is the result of extensive work at the keyboard and the use of my hands in the course of performing my duties. The continued reoccurrence of pain and numbness are the result of extensive ho
