Before the incident
Assisting a patient who was falling
What happened
While assisting the patient to the stretcher he began became wobbly and appeared as if he was going to fall. I grabbed the patient by the belt of his pants and supported his weight then helped him to the gurney. I felt a pull pinch in my mid to lower back when grabbed the patient. After leaving the call the pain turned into a cramping feeling radiating from my mid back to my side below my ribs.
