Before the incident
[REDACTED] was clearing scrap ring off the conveyor belts for [REDACTED] exit conveyor leading to the main takeaway conveyor that leads to the incline conveyor.
What happened
[REDACTED] was working on the light tester when he noticed the cans on station 4 were tipping. When he went to investigate he found that a scrap ring was stuck between lane 4 take away belt and the main conveyor witch takes the cans to the incline conveyor. [REDACTED] put his gloves on and grabbed the trim ring. The trim ring was pulled down by the running conveyor and it amputated the top 1 2 inch of [REDACTED]’s right middle finger.
