Treating the swimming pool with aftershock treatment.
What happened
Employee was performing routine maintenance on the swimming pool specifically treating it with chemical additives. Employee turned off the pool filter system before removing the lid from the chlorine feeder to apply a bag of aftershock treatment. After adding the treatment he secured the lid back onto the feeder. As he bent down to turn the pool filter back on the chlorine feeder lid exploded releasing a mixture of chlorine and aftershock treatment. The chemical mixture covered his face and upper body upon release.
