Before the incident
I was performing an ultrasound on an outpatient for a thyroid The patient had a very short neck and I was struggling to get the images needed for the exam and making my arm go in an abnormal position I repositioned the patient and placed a pillow behind their back in order for their neck to extend so it would allow memore room It was still continuing to struggle with my arm position as well as getting the images I also attempted a different probe with a smaller footprint By the time I was done with the exam my shoulder was very sore and felt weak The pain continued to get worse over the [REDACTED] and my [REDACTED] [REDACTED] I hadexcruciating pain and my range of motion was limited I visited urgent care that day
