Before the incident

I was assisting in restraining the patient and was securing her left arm when she moved causing whoever was restraining her left leg to move so in order to avoid getting hit in the face with a legknee I secured the patients left leg which caused me to release her left arm Immediately after securing the patients leg Iasked for assistance in restraining the patients left arm and while I was asking for assistance the patient attempted to swipe at me but could not reach my face due to her being in the physical hard restraints The restraint was on her left arm but it was very loose so she then grabbed my left wrist and began digging hernails in my wrist I was able to break free and continued to restrain her left leg until security was able to assist me in taking over restraining the patients left leg so I was able to go back to restraining the patients left arm while the clinical staff corrected the physical restraints to make them tighter on the patient The patientthen attempted to bite at
