Before the incident
Going to discard sharp and contact provider for a different BH Patient who was attempting to elope.
What happened
Protective services were called for a different attempting to elope. Once situation was controlled I went to contact the Pt attempting to elope provider and discard of the sharps. The needle guard some how retracted. Some time between going to discard of sharps and contacting provider I was stuck.
