What happened
[REDACTED] injury happened to Dr. while caring for pt on [REDACTED] 25. [REDACTED] came in to see Dr. for a bump on R ear. Dr. performed procedure to remove keloid from R ear. She finished procedure and pt left the clinic. After pt left Dr. told that during the procedure she accidentally injured herself w dirty needle fairly superficial. She washed the site as recommended. I gave Dr. form to take to Concentra for eval along w a copy of our injury policy; stated she would go to Concentra after work. On [REDACTED] I called pt that was involved to explain MD was stuck by needle and exposed to her blood. [REDACTED] said she understood and was willing to get labs drawn at our expense for Dr. benefit.
