Trying to stop a child from physically hitting another child.

The employee was attempting to stop a child from hitting another child. This child then punched the employee in the face and then punched the employee on the top of her left hand which was resting on the table. This caused the employee 's hand to become sore. She stated that she did not want to be seen on [REDACTED]. The [REDACTED] [REDACTED] the employee came in with a brace on her wrist (from home). Her wrist and the top of her left hand appeared swollen and she stated her middle finger hurt also that it was difficult to lift up. At that point she asked to be seen and was sent to OccMed.
