Building a cabinet frame with a pneumonic staple gun.
What happened
A one and half inch staple punctured R thumb at posterior joint when it hit a knot in the wood and blew out of material. Was pulled out without incident. Cleaned and wrapped
Injury or illness
TM went home fora 3 day Labor Day weekend. Thumb was still painful and swollen when he returned to work on Tue 09 02 2025. Seen at clinic 09 03 2025 when pain and swelling still present. Given antibiotic as precaution by medical provider. Upon follow-up on 09 15 2025 medical provider is referring to ortho since pain is still present.
