Troubleshooting ABB robot was in a fault state and would not function. LOTO was used to enter area. Worked on a bin issue and turned abruptly right into robot suction plate that had come to stop in an abnormal position. Hit head (left side of forehead) on plate causing laceration requiring 6 sutures to close.
