A heavy grade roller operator was assisting with removing an underground pipe using an excavator and a chain when the chain broke and a piece struck his ankle. This caused pain and swelling in the ankle. A Telemed call was completed for the roller operator and he was instructed to use ice and Aleve. No additional medical treatment was needed.
