What happened

At approximately [REDACTED] today [REDACTED] was working at the trestle exiting the east pug mill after cleaning. As he stepped out onto the small platform ladder and reached the last step his left foot made contact with a chunk of material. This caused his left ankle to roll inward. At [REDACTED] [REDACTED] contacted me and escorted [REDACTED] to the wash house where I met them at approximately [REDACTED]. We then contacted Axiom Medical. Per their guidance we applied ice and wrapped his ankle. Axiom instructed [REDACTED] to go home elevate the ankle apply ice take ibuprofen and wait two hours. They will be calling him to assess his condition and may schedule a follow-up appointment with an orthopedic doctor for [REDACTED]. There was visible swelling and bruising of the left ankle. Axiom believes it is appropriate to wait until [REDACTED] for further medical evaluation to determine whether [REDACTED] can return on modified or light duty.
