Using a bandsaw

EE waited in line to use a bandsaw. A co-worker had just finished using the bandsaw and turned it off. EE put their piece on the table with the edge in line with the saw blade and noticed there was a lot of poly debris on the saw. EE used their hand to remove some of the poly debris from the saw and sliced their right finger on the running blade. EE did not realize the blade was still spinning because they could not see it due to the poly scraps on the saw.
