Heading towards the patient to administer medication.
What happened
At the start of a new case the employee was walking towards the patient 's head of the bed to administer medication and slipped on wet floor. As she fell she hit her left shoulder and head on the procedure table and landed on her back. Another RN assisted her off the floor and she immediately felt dizzy and lightheaded. She went to the bathroom and became diaphoretic and nauseous and eventually vomited. A code 10 was called. Employee was sent to the ER.
