Before the incident
In preparation to enter a hotel room to affect an arrest for an attempted kidnapping suspect. He entered the hotel room with his taser in hand and deployed his taser and attempted to put the suspect in handcuffs.
What happened
While wearing PPE gloves he attempted to grab the suspect when his glove ripped. Blood from the suspect transferred onto his left hand middle finger. The employee had open wounds on that finger.
