Team member was running the D192 Cutoff. When the pipe and the offal pieces came out he threw away the offal and went to grab the cut piece.

Instead of grabbing the outside of the cut pipe his left thumb mistakenly went into the pipe. The pipe then rotated on the ramp and cut the skin between the left thumb and index finger. TM did not think the cut was anything significant at the time of the incident. After his shift the TM went to an Urgent Care facility where he was treated with five (5) stiches.

Left hand laceration between thumb and index finger.

Cut metal pipe.

Laceration to left hand requiring five (5) stitches.
